TEACHING

My mission as an educator is to contribute to the creation of more culturally competent psychologists. I am dedicated to educating my students in a way that infuses course content with principles of inclusion, diversity, multicultural sensitivity, and aspects of social justice and advocacy.

My role, as an educator, is to be used as a vehicle to teach my students to acknowledge, honor, and value the diversity of human experience, while providing information and formal instruction.

It is my responsibility to facilitate developmental growth in my students by challenging them to think deeply and critically, reshaping their worldviews, and stimulating enrichment in their knowledge and understanding of our discipline.
